When The Noise Won’t Stop – A Christian guide to dealing with anxiety

Simplistic explanations and solutions are avoided in this helpful book. The author writes from personal experience and brings biblical synthesis to his exploration of this subject. Paul Grimmond does a good job in explaining the complexity of anxiety and that people who struggle with anxiety are both sufferers and sinners. Anxiety is a complex phenomenon, related to the fallenness of the world, our biology and ourselves. The book is a big read and not for the faint-hearted!

The author describes what helps and why, suggesting a holistic approach – the practical and the spiritual. This book is a must for those involved in pastoral care. It would be an invaluable resource to read it slowly with an anxiety sufferer and at their own pace.
