Hopeward

‘This is a book for weary pilgrims, discouraged disciples, broken-hearted believers and faltering followers of Jesus.’ So begins the book and so it delivers. In his typical down-to-earth style, with real honesty about his own struggles, Dai Hankey engages the reader. He reaches down to draw alongside, and pick up, the Christian who is on the floor. Every page is full of rich gospel truth and speaks much of Jesus, leading us to him to be helped in our weakness.

Each chapter comes not only with helpful questions at the end for reflection, but also a prayer. These prayers are especially helpful in drawing the reader to engage spiritually and respond by dealing directly with the Lord. The book is not just for the weary Christian. It will be an encouragement to any who read it.
