Book review — Psalms for my day

Book: Psalms for my dayAuthor: Carine MacKenzie and Alec Motyer, Illustrated by Catherine PapePublisher: Christian Focus PublicationsRetail Price: £11.99 (buy now)
Review by Sheila Stephen1 minute readJanuary/February 2020, page 30

Psalms for my day

The author uses Alec Motyer’s translation of the Psalms in this beautifully presented devotional book for children or family prayer time. Each devotional is laid out over two colourful pages to include the text of the psalm being used, short comments and a prayer.

The text seems aimed at children of Primary School age, but with the colourful pictures it would easily be accessible to toddlers too, giving them something relevant to look at.

Ideal for Sunday School prizes, family devotional times and birthday presents.
