This is a quirky book for children aged 8-11 who want to know more about the message of the Bible. The format is so interesting: text, Bible verses to look up and challenging questions to answer, not to mention facts about us and our world. The Bible basics about God, Jesus, sin and salvation are solidly explained in terms that are easy to understand and without a lot of jargon. There is sound doctrine and good teaching about discipleship. The author does an excellent job of making things very clear. The questions on their own would be useful material for a young people’s group programme. It is a very interesting read for parents too.
