God’s Timeline – The big book of church history

This book comes well-attested by four professors – so you can trust the content. At first glance, it looks like a coffee table book, then you open the pages and see that it is a little goldmine! The style of the book is that of an illustrated timeline of church history from 33AD to 1982. The timeline is broken up into sections: The Early Church; The Medieval Church; The Reforming Church; The Missionary Church and The Modern Church. Each section has small illustrations which bring events to life. There are excurses into important issues such as ‘How we got our Bible’, and there is a pull-out poster in the back. This book would be ideal for presenting as a gift to school and local libraries, as well as for personal use. A great present for a special occasion.
