Bitesize Biographies

This is almost a ‘mini-bitesize’ series. It is 6 very short pocketbook biographies of Aidan of Lindisfarne, John Wycliffe, Lady Jane Grey, Mary Jones, Thomas Cranmer and William Tyndale. The set is an easy introduction to some characters from church history, made accessible for those with little knowledge of these people. The text is easy to read and difficult concepts are well explained. Reading them one after the other is a way of rekindling excitement in how the God of history can use women and men in his service. The series especially draws attention to those men we should be eternally grateful to for their work in Bible translation.
