Your Magnificent Mouth

In a delightful and engaging manner, this book aims to teach children about the profound impact of our words through a clear gospel lens. With captivating rhymes and beautiful, diverse illustrations, it explores the significance of our mouths and words in a way that is accessible to children, while maintaining the integrity of biblical truth.

Abbey teaches how God used his voice in creation and designed our mouths for wonderful purposes: to speak truth, offer encouragement, sing praises, and share the good news of Jesus. She also emphasises that while our words can be used in ways that do not please God, Jesus was the only human to ever use his words perfectly, even asking for forgiveness for those who hurt him. The book concludes by encouraging children to seek God’s help, as he provides his Spirit to those who follow him, enabling them to use their mouths and words in the right way.

Although some of the language may be challenging for young children, this book serves as a valuable resource for Christian families looking to disciple their children and foster heart change and godly character, rather than just focusing on external behaviours.
